STAY OUT OF THE TEAM’S TRANSFER BUSINESS – REDKNAPP ADVISES DANNY ROSE

Amid interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, Danny Rose voiced his opinion on Tottenham’s business in the transfer window and hinted at leaving this summer. The Full back which many believes is the best in the league made it clear he doesn’t want to retire without silverware.

Tottenham hotspur are yet to buy any player in the current transfer window and in fact sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City, an attitude the player felt indicates that Spurs cannot contend for the title with the other big boys like Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea. The 27 year old left back says

“I am reaching my peak and have probably only got one big contract left in me… Time is running out and I don’t want to play football for 15 years and not have one trophy or one medal”

Rose retorted that other teams despite having made pretty good signing in the transfer window are yet not satisfied and still wants to add two or more players to their squad. He wants Spurs to sign well known players, not those you will need to “google” before you know them.

“Under Harry Redknapp we signed Rafa van der Vaart. It was like, ‘Wow’, how did he do that?... I mean signings like that are what we need – that’s just my opinion.”

However, Harry Redknapp has expressed shocked about the England International’s outburst and believes he should have stayed away from team’s transfer business.

“Danny is a great lad, an outstanding player, the best left back in the country in my opinion. I don’t know why he’s said that really, it’s up to the manager and the owners whether they spend money really, and buy players”

Redknapp believe Spurs doesn’t really need to buy players to be a title contender. He said with the first team in good form they are the best in the league

“It’s a difficult club to buy players at because their starting eleven is so good I don’t know if you were trying to sign a player what you would say to him? Come to Tottenham’. And the player says ‘I’m a striker where do you see me playing’, and you say on the bench really because we have got Harry Kane

Tottenham is yet to react to the action of the player who signed a 5 years extension with Spurs 2016

ESCOBAR: IT WAS SIX SHOTS FOR ONE GOAL

ESCOBAR: IT WAS SIX SHOTS FOR ONE GOAL Growing up you must have heard about a certain Escobar who scored an own goal and was killed for doing that. This story tells us as much crazy as the FIFA World Cup can be, but wait was it just about a football match or there is another undertone to it? Let’s go find out what caused the death of “El Caballero del Futbol” (The gentleman of football). Coming to the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the United States, the Colombian team had been built to one of the strongest team in the World. They were so strong that the legendary Pele tipped them to make at least the Semifinal at the mundial. This was not an overstatement because in 26 matches leading to the 1994 World Cup, Colombia only lost a match out of 26. To prove further that they were contenders in the real sense of it, in the South America’s last World Cup qualifiers at Buenos Aires, the 1990 finalist and the host, Argentina needed a win against Colombia to qualify but were walloped 5-0 by th...
